Spotted: Rolex Day-Date 1803 WG with stunning linen dial.. Look at those markers!
Spotted: linen sigma Rolex Datejust 1601.
I must say – these Sigma dials are my favorites. Not because of the Sigma.. but look at the shape of the markers. I once had a blue Sigma 1601 with these exact markers.. Such a work of art!
Check it out at my friends of Amsterdam Watch Company: http://www.awco.nl/index.php?taal=1&id=3065&spec=2
Property Of A Gentleman: Rolex Day-Date 1803 with great no-lume linen dial with hands and markers filled in with black lacquer. Low-key, but rare and stunning. Yes, Sigma!
Thanks for sharing – much appreciated!
Friend Henrik from SubGMT posted an interesting pair of Day-Dates on his Facebook page today; a linen 1803 in white gold and an linen 1802 in yellow gold. To see them both side by side is great, but he also posted an interesting question:
White or Yellow, that is the question. The left one is a plexi 1803 in white gold, the right one is a 1802 with smooth bezel in yellow gold. Suppose you saved some money and decided to spend it well and wise, would you buy the (left) white golden Rolex Day-Date or the (right) yellow golden one, which has a pretty rare reference number?
